LubePM
LubePM auto-generates tasks with step-by-step procedures and vital lubricant information, ensuring you never miss an inspection point or use the wrong grease. It documents and saves your work on a cloud-based system for your team to access anytime, anywhere. It also provides real-time reporting and analytics, enabling you to make informed decisions about your maintenance program. (Source: LubePM)
LubePM is a Lubrication Management System (LMS) engineered by lubrication professionals. It helps an organization create accountability to ensure that every lubrication point is carefully maintained, inspected, and measured. It provides the necessary information and programmatic features to enable lubrication to serve as a pillar of precision maintenance and world-class reliability. (Source: LubePM)
A traditional CMMS may not provide the necessary depth for a modern precision maintenance program and may lack adequate job planning, task management, and inventory control. LubePM, on the other hand, is designed to serve lubrication requirements completely and with the necessary precision.
We have multiple options but most elect to use our mobile app for iPhone, iPad, and Android™️ and web platform to collect inspection results and record the execution of tasks in a simple-to-use digital format.
iPhone and iPad are registered trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
Android is a trademark of Google LLC.
Spreadsheets and notebooks are common but are difficult to maintain and update. Utilizing our solution (LubePM) makes this easy with instant updates.
Lubrication Program Development (LPD)
Absolutely. Noria consultants are committed to maintaining full safety compliance. They will adhere to company safety protocols, including any required safety training and other relevant measures. Safety is a top priority for Noria, and they will work closely with your team to ensure all safety regulations and guidelines are followed.
LPD is provided in a few languages including Spanish, French, Thai and more through the support of Noria’s Global Partners depending on the specific LPD service offered.
It is recommended to perform separate LPD projects at each plant. Although, each plant’s results can be viewed side-by-side and for comparison using the LubePM program.
Noria doesn’t have any specific equipment requirements from the client. However, we do need confirmation on whether there are any special requirements for our consultants prior to arrival, such as personal protective equipment (PPE) or flame-resistant (FR) clothing.
Furthermore, we require access to all lubricated equipment and relevant sections of the plant related to the client’s lubrication program. An escort from the client’s team will be needed while we’re onsite to help us in locating key equipment and providing crucial information. We also seek permission to bring digital tablets onsite and take photos as necessary.
To optimize our time together, it would greatly benefit us if clients could provide a comprehensive asset list of all rotating equipment in their plant, as well as access to oil analysis data and maintenance budget estimates upon request. This preparation helps us deliver the most effective and efficient service possible.
During the Ascend Assessment, Noria experts will identify gaps in your lubrication program and provide a customized roadmap for improvements. This may involve inspecting your lubricated assets and collecting data. The impact on operations would depend on your specific situation and should be discussed directly with Noria. (Source: Lubrication Program Development)
LPD can and should be performed during normal operating periods, particularly during LPD Phase 1 (Ascend Assessment) and LPD Phase 2 (Engineering Design).
While we can often tentatively hold project dates based on the current availability of our consulting team, to officially lock in dates, Noria requires a signed Purchase Order (PO) that adheres to 30-day payment terms (though some exceptions may apply). Also, we need full location and contact details associated with the project location well before the project. We typically schedule a client kick-off call within a few weeks of the project prior to our onsite arrival to finalize all pending details. This process ensures that we’re fully prepared to deliver our services efficiently and effectively.
Noria operates on a first come, first served basis, so we strongly encourage clients to confirm and schedule project dates as early as possible. Not only does this help secure your spot, but it can also ensure reasonable pass-through savings on related travel expenses, especially for clients located in remote areas or outside of the contiguous United States. So, the sooner you book, the better it is for planning and potential cost savings.
The goal of Noria’s LPD is to improve operations, not interrupt them. However, there may be some necessary interruptions during the assessment and implementation phases. The specifics would depend on your plant’s operations and should be discussed directly with Noria.
Yes, training is included in Phase 1 of the LPD. The Ascend Assessment provides a roadmap for success, along with training, KPIs, and a detailed report. (Source: Lubrication Program Development)
Phase 1 (Ascend Assessment) typically takes 1 week, Phase 2 (Engineering Design) takes 6-8 weeks, and Phase 3 (Implementation) can take 1-2 years, depending on the client needs and available resources. (Source: Lubrication Program Development)

The three phases of the LPD process are the Ascend Assessment, Engineering Design, and Program Implementation.
- The Ascend Assessment provides a customized roadmap for quick wins and long-term success, along with training, KPIs, and a detailed report to help you cost-justify improvements.
- The Engineering Design phase involves Noria experts surveying your lubricated assets and collecting all the data needed to deliver comprehensive procedures along with lubricant and hardware recommendations.
- The Program Implementation phase involves Noria facilitating the vendor selection and procurement process to outfit your program with the equipment and hardware you need to achieve your reliability and maintenance goals. (Source: Lubrication Program Development)
The LPD is a three-phase process that Noria experts use to help customers identify gaps in their lubrication programs and make a prioritized plan for improvements. It aims to build a reliable lubrication program, reduce downtime, promote a reliability culture, minimize costs, establish KPIs to measure progress, streamline for efficiency, and deliver significant ROI.
